Which one should you take?

Here you can see the basics of each exam.  Princeton Review provides an easy to follow chart that shows the comparisons and differences between the SAT and the ACT.  It is essential for you to feel comfortable with the material.  You should take a practice of each exam to gain a better understanding on what is better for you.

Registering for the exams:

To start, register with the appropriate exam website by pressing the name of the exam above.

Things you'll need:

  • You and your immediate families personal information - You'll need to know information about yourself and your immediate family. Make sure you have all the information when registering.

  • Your past and current high school course work - You can pick this up from your school counselor.

  • Both exam companies will ask you for your high school's CEEB code. 

    • Find your high school's CEEB code here​

  • Photo - Smile! You're going to need a clear picture of your face. This is so the proctor on the day of the exam knows you are the correct person taking the exam.
